A Little Bit About Me...

I firmly believe that every child is capable of learning hard concepts, they just have to be taught in a way that is applicable to them. So I first like to get to know the student and try to figure out their learning style and teach them according to how they learn. This helps me figure out where the root of the problem is so I can fix it. Then I like to use a lot of visual and hands-on lessons because children need that to really grasp concepts and to apply it in different situations. I also like to question them to lead them to come to the answer and concepts themselves in order to increase their curiosity, desire to learn, and self-esteem.

I believe in a combination of classic and Modern Music I feel that the classics provide the basics and the structure that one needs to learn properly, I feel the modern Music helps with retaining students and creates a sense accomplishment by being able to play music that they hear on a regular bases. I also promote creativity and try to challenge the students to seek out improvements in what they are learning . My teaching style is one that will allow the students to learn at their own level.
