Teaching is a passion of mine. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I believe that kindness, patience, and understanding are necessary characteristics when teaching students. With the proper motivation and guidance, all students possess the ability to learn. I teach my students with humor and respect. After getting my degree in Printing/Desktop Publishing/Graphic Design, I ran my own successful business for 11 years. Tutoring was my link to the creative challenge of showing people a way to enter the world of books, or create a monthly newsletter for their charity, or publish a catalog of services available to those in need. I taught reading and math skills to K-3 in a public school setting after moving cross-country for health needs. I have a background in math, grammar, phonetics, and reading.
