My comments on tutoring Anatomy : Used Anatomy as a med. transcrip.

I started out tutoring elementary students in basic math and English grammar while I attended college part time in the 1980's. I continued tutoring young students and adults in the 1990's, tutoring Basic Math, Basic and Intermediate Algebra, Basic Geometry, English Composition, Speech, Study Skills and the Sciences. In addition, tips were given to enhance test-taking skills in hard-to-Ace subjects like Economics. I have tutored for the Sickle Cell Organization in 2001, helping students catch up numerous missed assignments. I tutor when the opportunity presents itself. Teaching Science and Math requires that the student understand each step in order to understand a concept. Each student is unique requiring more help in one area than another. When teaching I have always insured that the student is competent with the basic concepts and then we move on to more complicated concepts. Chemistry, Physics and Math are visual and I work from text and paper and pencil to explain concepts. In addition there are many ways to solve math and science problems.
