Experience Summary
Greetings! I am very highly skilled in the sciences including, biology, human anatomy and physiology, neuroscience, animal biology and physiology, plant biology and physiology, environmental physiology, general chemistry, organic chemistry I and II, and environmental science. In addition to an A.S. in Biological science and a B.S. in Integrative Biology, Organismic Emphasis, I have successfully tutored college mathematics including college algebra. I am highly skilled in undergraduate level writing including APA research papers and MLA/ APA English composition writing skills. I am currently available to tutor college students as well as Kindergarten through 12th grade students. Specialty tutoring including Biology related GRE prep is available for all you soon to be college graduates! I love working with students that struggle with certain areas of schooling because seeing that "ah ha!" moment is absolutely priceless. My experience tutoring extends from 2005 to current in all areas.
Teaching Style
My teaching style completely depends on the student themselves. I believe that each child or student has their own way of learning and it is my job to use my skills as a teacher to find out the most effective way to help them succeed. I strive to help students truly understand content and learn effective fundamental strategies and study techniques that can help them be successful when applied to any subject.
