A Little Bit About Me...

I am a student from Rutgers University pursuing double major in Electrical and Computer Engineer. As an engineer, I have taken all the Calculus courses and also on top of that required Chemistry and Physics. I was awarded Most passionate about Mathematics award and also was named young scholar of new jersey.
As an Engineer in making I go through this process everyday where sometimes I have to learn and sometimes I have to teach. I work in a team, and try to make connection between material and some real life example. Just to show an example, the pythagorus theorem is really useful to work around were we make use of the hypotenuse to walk less from point a to b rather than going through the path.

I teach as if each student was my own child. I treat students the same way I would want my own children treated. Therefore, I teach with the same inspiration. I am convinced that students think math has to be hard, but I approach math with a different attitude. There are definitely some aspects of math that can be troubling, these are the concepts we need to work harder on and with a different frame of mind. Teaching is a difficult task. Everyone learns at a different pace and on their own level. Some students are quick learners and their teacher only needs to go over the lesson once; other students need to hear the subject content in a different form to understand it. Having said that, I can't explain my teaching style as a cut and dry formula. The skill level of each student and the way they process information will determine how I will present them with questions and explanations.
