My teaching philosophy is to help students understand chemistry through four modalities: reading, listening, seeing and hands-on learning. To explain ideas in chemistry I can use various teaching aids such as 3-D models, chemistry-writing software, and visual demonstrations. I also try to relate chemistry to student’s real world experiences.

I began as a volunteer through my university's writing lab, per recommendation by a cherished professor.
