My teaching style is flexible depending upon the needs of my student(s). Some students have disabilities that make drilling or repetition styles of teaching and tutoring difficult and tiresome, while other thrive on it. Others need hands on learning opportunities and problems to work through on their own. Regardless of the student’s need, I am a tenacious teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

In the past 7 years I have had the opportunity through tutoring to help students from kindergarten through college exceed in math at various levels. Earning a BA in Mandarin Chinese has helped me to really learn what it means to work hard and a variety of other skills. Then I will do a problem step by step, showing the student what I am doing. Next, I will have the student do the same problem, but recreate the steps that I had shown them, guiding them along the way.
