I am a newly grad from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs; I earned my B.A. in History and a minor in philosophy. I maintained a 3.5 GPA and had the honor of being selected to study abroad at the University of Puerto Rico while writing my senior thesis on the socioeconomic conflicts of Puerto Rico's independence movement. A Little Bit About Me...

For the past four years I have been working at The Children's ARK-A residential treatment facility for at-risk youth. I was a teaching assistant my first year and I have been teaching for the last three years all content areas and subjects for grades 5-8. As for my educational background, I am currently on a TTE (Temporary Teaching license)and I will have my SPED generalist permanent license in May. Also, I will have an added endorsement and a Master's degree this summer 2010.
