I am a newly grad from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs; I earned my B.A. in History and a minor in philosophy. My teaching experience has been diverse. I have taught fifth grade through college level, and I have taught in different areas of English: grammar, writing, literature, speech, reading,etc. I have tutored elementary students in reading and writing. I currently teach composition at the community college level to mainly non-traditional students.
With so many years of experience, I have watched educational trends come and go and come back again! For the past four years I have been working at The Children's ARK-A residential treatment facility for at-risk youth.
