IN NEED OF A JOB

I like to have a fun open minded discussion. I don't like boring so I will do my best to spice it up.
I have obtained my GED and have always had straight As in high school. I'm also familiar with construction and building skills. I am a visual learner and will do my best to make the teaching fun. I have also obtained 13 college credits from Kalamazoo valley central college. The 13 credits that I have obtained are in computer skills. The computer skills that I have obtained are those for knowing and understanding how to use Microsoft word and all other programs associated with it.

Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! I have a BA in English-Writing from Spring Arbor University where I focused on writing creatively. I have published short stories and poems in creative anthologies from the university, and I just completed a young adult fantasy novel. A Little Bit About Me...

I have trained employees in both manual labor and on-the-job customer service and sales. In addition, I was responsible for coordinating training programs for in plant positions like hi-lo driving and safety as well as Adult Education (Speed Reading, English as a Second Language, etc.). I held a sales position for 25 years and possess strong people skills and problem solving and conflict resolution abilities. While enrolled at Davenport University in 2008-2009, I received a 4.0 GPA that included a Training and Development course.
I am happily retired at a relatively young age and am seeking an outlet for my skills and abilities that can benefit others. My greatest joy is spending time with our 6 grandchildren, as I have always liked kids.

I began my career as a high school teacher teaching grades 9-12. My engagement with students at this level was highly satisfying; I loved teaching this age group speech and drama courses. After that I spent several years in a FT professional touring performance ensemble that performed for all ages in a variety of settings across the Midwest.
