I use a comprehensive homeschool curriculum with progress monitoring reports, and my lessons are interactive and designed to meet the needs of each student. I try to have fun and make it relevant to their own experience, and I ensure that every student feels included and welcomed. In the classroom, my biggest strengths are levels of engagement and behavior management utilizing SEL methods. I am a credentialed elementary teacher, but have experience tutoring K-12, both in person and virtually. I taught Art for grade levels from 1st through 12th grade for a private school for 3 years. Due to the economy unfortunately our school had to remove the art & p.e. program. I love working with children, and our young adults. I believe art to be a subject matter that should not be left out, as it helps our children grow in other academic areas. In 2009, I graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor degree in Classics with a minor in Art History.
