Personally, I love to learn, and this drive within myself helps me to communicate my passion for education to my students. I have worked with children from age 5 through college age, and I understand the importance of creativity and individualized attention. I believe all students should have the opportunity and resources to succeed. My goal for working as a tutor would be to provide them with these tools and to help them in their own pursuit of knowledge.

I love teaching! I'm a people person who enjoys working with all kinds of people. I have a bachelor's degree in Drama, a music minor, and a Master's degree in English education. I have 7 years' experience teaching English at the college level. I also wrote entertainment articles for a local magazine for 4 years, and I have a book published. I have been blessed with professors at the university level who understand the importance of one-on-one instruction. Through the "creativity" of thoughtful instructors I have seen myself grow and develop in ways that I hadn't thought possible. Every student learns differently, and once the instructor gets to know the student well enough and is able to tailor their lessons to the needs of the student, true learning happens.
