English is one of my top subjects! I currently work as an English tutor for the students enrolled at the Art Institute of Atlanta. I assist students improve test scores who are trying to gain admission into the college yet score poorly on the entrance exam. I also work in the writing center where I meet with enrolled students to assist in each step of the writing porcess. The ultimate goal for the students and I is that we end with a polished final draft that contains good grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and flow.

EXCELLENT EDUCATOR!!!

My teaching and classroom management style is very authoritative. I like to set clear and concise classroom rules and expectations. Teachers should take time to set rules in a visible place for students, review them daily, and have consequences when the rules are not followed. However, students will be acknowledged for doing the right thing through classroom recognition or a prize. Students should have a set routine each day. This will allow them to know and understand what to expect with the classroom. If the routine has to be changed, this is explained ahead of time and students are guided into the transition. This will alleviate discipline problems.
