I have earned a bachelor degree in physics with a minor in mathematics graduating with a 4.0 in both my major and minor classes. I graduated magna cum laude, was awarded introductory to physics student of the year, awarded the Ted M. George outstanding senior in physics award, and taught an introductory to physics lab at Eastern Kentucky University Fall 2009. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe anyone can learn any subject as long as they have the right tools to succeed. The right teacher can make a hard subject seem easy. My main goal in teaching is to make students feel they have the ability to be successful in the courses they are taking. I do the above by being very positive, patient, and encouraging. From my years of taking extremely hard college courses, I have learned study skills that allowed me to do more than simply memorize material but to actually learn and retain the subject matter. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taken many courses over an extended period of time. In 2002 I entered the Surgical Technology program at Jefferson Technical College; I managed a 4.00 and missed only a couple of days. During the many testing phases of the program I stayed and helped get other students through the program, I was commended on my drive and determination to help other students, all while maintaining my grade average. I pulled down some of the highest scores in the programs history. This didn't go unnoticed, as shortly after graduation I was asked by the Dean of Allied Health and Surgical Technology Program Coordinator to come back and teach. I taught all of the prerequisite core classes, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Human Growth and Development and Medical Terminology.
