A Little Bit About Me...

I was an teacher assistant for a chemistry lab for an organic lab for one semester at the University of South Carolina. I made sure students understood concepts and graded reports. I tutored general chemistry for 2 years at the Student Success Center at the University of South Carolina. I learned how to effectively foster independent learning within my peers. I'm also a certified tutor involving 10 hours of training and over 25 hours logged time with students. I have a B.S in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and did research for three years there. I've got experience with the material that I tutor from teaching and from hands on research. I have a strong background in math as well as chemistry.

I have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from West Virginia University. I also played football in college and was active in tutoring fellow players. My course load was heavy in chemistry, physics, biology, and biochemistry. I have also taken the MCATs in preparation for medical school and scored a 36 (98th percentile), so I am also qualified to assist students in MCAT preparation.
