GRE is one of my top subjects!

My teaching style varies for each student, I try to tailor the work to how the student learns.
I have been tutoring students of all ages since I was in high school. I began by tutoring my own peers in math and social studies. I would also tutor children from 1st grade on up in all subjects. Once in college, I tutored college students and younger in many fields, primarily mathematics courses. My specialty quickly became preparation for standardized tests as well as calculus because I have a unique ability to discover how each student learns and tailor the lessons to their needs. I can quickly find where the knowledge gaps exist for each student and fill in those gaps, in order to create a complete understanding of the topic, not just get them to memorize answers.

A Little Bit About Me...

I attained two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in Psychology and the other in Linguistics. Due to my education in the social sciences I have developed a vast knowledge of the mechanics of writing, which is particularly exemplified by my senior honor's thesis in psychology that I composed this past year. Through my degree in Linguistics I have mastered the principles of English grammar and can readily articulate describe such principles in a scientific manner. For two academic years I was employed by the Rinella Learning Center at Miami University as a tutor. A Little Bit About Me...

As a former academic scholarship student at Western Kentucky University, I have a keen understanding of what it takes to succeed at the highest level even under immense stress.
