My experience with tutoring began in high school, when I started assisting elementary students with homework through one of my clubs. Throughout the two years I was involved, I regularly helped 6 students, along with 6 students that I met with irregularly. I have experience tutoring children with behavioral issues, learning disabilities (dyslexia, ADHD, ADD), as well as students on the Autism Spectrum. I believe that teaching styles need to be flexible to the student. I have worked with a very wide variety of students, from the severely limited autistic youth to the highly gifted medical student. While approach and focus might vary for the individual or subject matter the essence remains the same.
