I have experience teaching English and German (I am a Spanish native speaker though). My best talent is the writing and that is of a great help when it comes to teaching a language. I taught English in Colombia and Spanish in Germany which gave me the experience necessary to transmit what I know in the best way possible. I learnt German in Germany to an extend that I helped my friends to improve theirs. I think it is very important to meet the student at their level of interest and need. If the primary goal is simply getting enough experience to do well on a test or excel in a class, I focus on nemonic aids or other techniques (depending on the students learning style) to ensure success with this shorter term goal. If the student has a thirst for knowledge and wishes to explore the language in more depth, I am also very willing to take them on a journey through all of its intricacies. I'm an English education major currently attending Western Michigan University to earn my degree. Before starting at Western I attended Jackson College, where I excelled in my writing classes and was asked to become a writing fellow. Through this program I worked with students at the college answering questions and helping them with any and all works of writing.
