Upon graduation from college, I taught 7th grade English for two years, then Gifted & Talented grades 4-6. I left the field of teaching for marriage and babies. My husband was in the military, so we moved quite often. I homeschooled our two children for most of their elementary years. After that I taught 7th grade Algebra at a private school. I have been working with the public for over 20 years, in that time I have worked with young adults as well as mature adults. I have also done some substitute teaching in elementary and high school levels. My experience is in food service and have dealt with many walks of life. I am a very committed member of Lincoln Kiwanis International as well as a member of the Central United Methodist Church.
