Teaching came naturally to me, and I understand why. I was originally taught at the kitchen counter of an oversized farmhouse. My mom taught me to read along with other basic skills; this enabled me to skip a grade and enriched me with a great love for learning. When you have a great love, you love to give it away. This is something that I have experienced when tutoring a child. Teaching and tutoring, while similar, are actually two distinct practices.
