I have been employed by Toledo Public Schools since 1999. I have taught French, Math,Social Studies and Special Education Classes. Some of the classes I was a long term sub teacher where I taught for three or more months at a time. I have also taught on a daily basis English, Science,Health and a variety of other subjects. I am also currently employed as a counselor.
My teaching style would best be described as finding the best methods to help students learn a subject and then using them. No two students are exactly alike so why teach them that way?

I recently received my Bachelors degree in High School Ed with a focus on social studies and I am currently in the process of receiving a Bachelors in history at the end of this semester as well. I also am enrolled in the Graduate program at Lourdes to receive my endorsement to teach K-12 Reading. I also was a certified child care administrator for the YMCA for 6 months in 2006 but had to step down due to my student teaching responsibilities.
Very hands on with a strict demeanor initially that I relax as I gain my students mutual respect. Although mathematics was my college minor, I spent 90% of my 30+ years in education teachingh the subject. Areas taught ranged from seventh grade math through Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II at the high school level. In addition, I taught algebra and trigonometry as a member of the adjunct faculty at Terra Community College.
