For the past five years I have been working as a Math tutor at a local technical college covering Basic Math, Intro Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Trig and Elementary Statistics. I start by giving a diagnostic test to assess each student's proficiency in the basics of Arithmetic and Algebra: fractions, decimals, percentages and the interconversion between them,and the rules of working with signed numbers.
