I am currently finishing my first year in my graduate program, MEdT Program (Masters in Education Teaching). I have so far spent 12hrs a week in the classroom for the past year. I have taught several solo lessons a week while at Campbell High School and Ilima Intermediate. I am efficient in one-on-one teaching situations students who need extra attention and assistance. I was the Fundraising Chairperson, Luau Food Chairperson, and eventually the President of the Hawaii-Pacific Islanders Club. A Little Bit About Me...

When I was a freshman in college, I knew that my future was in my hands. I befriended and contacted my chemistry professor and zoology advisor. I worked in both of their labs, and I was only a freshman! By studying in their research groups, I gained the experience necessary to intern at Sea Life Park Hawaii. In fact, I was published in 2007 after working for Dr. Charlie Cox in the Chemistry Department. Recognizing the need for more hands-on research experience, I found another opportunity with another professor in cellular biology.
