Expereinced SAT / ACT/ GRE tutor with perfect scores

My tutoring experience has mainly focused on SAT / ACT prep and ESL (TOEFL). I have also been a high school / middle school teacher in social studies / history / humanities for the past 4 years. I'm now working on my Masters at UH-Manoa. Throughout high school I was a teaching assistant at Iolani during the summer for English Language Learners. While attending Harvard University, I volunteered in a after school program in Boston's Chinatown community teaching second and third graders from low income families. While raising my kids, I came to understand that each child has a unique way of learning. Homeschooling my son gave an opportunity for trial and error during which I discovered an understanding of how students would learn best. My teaching style is based on the Flemings VARK model of learning--Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and Tactile/Kinesthetic. I believe that each student has a unique learning style.
