I currently teach at the college level for various colleges including dual credit courses in many high schools. I have been a tutor for over 15+ years. I have been a statistician, a chemist in a laboratory setting, worked in the medical field, and done consulting for various companies through out my career. While tutoring my students I not only explain the method in solving a math problem, but I also challenge them with leading questions.
