Trigonometry is one of my top subjects!

I have two years tutoring experience. In college, I tutored college students who struggled with math (algebra, trigonometry, calculus, etc). Other experience I have is derived from having taken and successfully passed (A) those courses I can tutor. I also help and tutor students who would like to learn how to play piano by ear, chords (major, minor, diminished, augmented), hear a song and determine chords, accompanying a singer, etc. I have experience in playing piano by ear for churches from almost 2 years. I occasionally play piano/keyboard in a band setting.

I am a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Engineering. Not only have I excelled in math and science throughout the educational process, I also did very well in all other subjects, never receiving less than a 'B' letter grade in any class. More importantly, however, I enjoy passing on to others the knowledge that I have gained. A Little Bit About Me...

I taught one year at Zionsville Community High School, where I taught Algebra I, Prealgebra, and Basic Math. I currently teach at Tri-Central High School, where I have been for nine years. I teach AP Calculus AB, Precalculus, and Geometry. I have also taught Algebra I at Tri-Central. I have had experience tutoring, both in high school and college. I have tutored students in Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, and AP Calculus AB.
I have a very strong passion towards teaching. While many teachers tend to go towards adminstration afters 10 years of teaching, I have no desire to go that route. I have been tutoring children and adults for about 7 years now in all levels of math and science. I prefer math tutoring but will do science so long as it is a math based science (no biology or physiology please). I love to work with students finding their unique learning style and making math just make sense. I have a degree in Civil Engineering which has allowed me to feel comfortable with just about all levels of math and most levels of science.
