While attending Danville Area Community College from 2003 to 2005, I tutored middle school and high school students through a program called AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). This included individual and group tutoring sessions in all subjects. I mostly tutored in mathematics as this is my specialty. After transferring to Eastern Illinois University, I began my pursuit of a teaching certificate in secondary education with my concentration in mathematics. I have taught in many different formats in both mathematics and physics. At Purdue University, I ran a physics laboratory class as well as did tutoring in a help center for physics. Afterwords I have also taught for ITT Tech where I taught an online physics course; IvyTech where I am currently teaching an algebra course; and the princeton review where I am teaching Physics for MCAT Students. Finally, I have done some at home tutoring for individuals in mathematics.

I have always had an interest in helping others learn new material. I have earned a BS and MS in Physics, and in the process of doing this I also did extensive coursework in Mathematics.
