I retired after 35 years of teaching, and I am currently substitute teaching. Through the years I have tutored privately students ranging from kindergarten to high school. I also teach piano. Early Childhood Education Tutoring

My name is Rachel Bloom(Rovner). In 2012-2013, I completed some college majoring in Early Childhood Education. In 2009-2012, I completed 762 hours of community service volunteering with children with disabilities, helping with early development learning. In 2014, I worked as an after school teacher at a Daycare in Anna, TX. The daycare is no longer open. My comments on tutoring Elementary Grammar : I am experienced and expert teaching Elementary Grammar.

My teaching style, when engaged in one on one tutoring is very individualized. I used the student's personality and interests to design my teaching style. I love tutoring because I can teach to a student's interests and personality and establish a love for learning in most of my students.
Denver Summer Scholars - Lead computer tutor - Taught 3 classes a day with 15 students in each class. I used computer software to tutor students in math and language arts. My students were ESL at Risk students. Tree of Knowledge - I tutored 15 students during the 2011 to 2012 school year in Language Arts and Math. Taught classes in GED in workplace to help co-workers qualify for promations; also taght GED at Skinner M.S as part of field work for teachers classes in which I received an "A"; was an AVID (advancement via individual determination) in both middle school and Hinckley H. S. for four years. AVID helps students learn to think for themselves rather than parroting answers to standardized tests -- taught all four major subjects (math, science, english, and social studies) but did especially well in english and social studies; when I was younger gave french horn lessons. Been a support group leader for people with epilepsy and have given lectures on dealing with people with hidden disabilities to the State of Colorado employees; as a parent have experience dealing with ADHD issues in grade school and teenage students
