I have tutored before, I am currently tutoring kids at my high school everyday in the subject in which they need help in. My goal in tutoring is to not only to have the child succeed in the course but to understand the concept of the course. My style of teaching is different for each child, because everyone does not learn the same way. Some people are visual learners and with them I focus on teaching them with pictures. Others are audible learners in which with these I focus on teaching with songs. My main reason for tutoring is to make learning fun!

When tutoring students I try to take a multidimensional approach. I attempt to show the child, explain it in my own words, have the student explain it in his/her own words, and then have them apply and practice so that the material really sticks. Throughout high school and college I helped numerous classmates develop efficient ways of studying as well as providing assistance to learning and understanding the given material.
