Currently, I am a tutor at a tutorial institute in Honolulu teaching kids that range from ages 4-17. While in college, I also tutored in the Math Department as well as conducted private tutoring for a man who attended a community college and needed help with College Algebra. Throughout high school I was a teaching assistant at Iolani during the summer for English Language Learners. While attending Harvard University, I volunteered in a after school program in Boston's Chinatown community teaching second and third graders from low income families. There I helped them with homework and developed projects with fellow counselors to enrich their learning. Flexible - it depends on the student's needs and preference. One size fits all teaching is poor teaching. My tutoring experience has mainly focused on SAT / ACT prep and ESL (TOEFL).
