My teaching style involves getting to know the student as a person first and going from there. Learning how he/she learns something new and what he/she knows and doesn't know quite yet. Every child is different in the way that he/she learns and a person how to figure that out first for a child to be successful. I tutored elementary students while in high school. I am now an Education major at Midwestern State University and I will graduate in May of 2010. At my last job I helped tutor students and get them ready for test and quizzes etc. I enjoy working with kids I can't think of anything better to do with my time.

My teaching style would be a hands-on approach. I believe that the success rate of learning is higher when the child is able to learn while doing an activity. Learning should be fun and altered to fit the needs of the child. I love working with children, and helping them learn. Throughout my academic career I have mentored children of various ages, and helped the child with academic problem areas. One mentoring relationship was spent reading and working with the child on reading to improve thier skills.

I have a detailed academic understanding of both chemistry and biology on many levels.
