As a graduate of a Health Science program at a competitive public university, Clemson University, I showed an understanding of many science disciplines. In the course of earning my BS in Health Sciences with a Concentration in Pre-Professional Health Studies, I became well versed in biology as well as chemistry. I have been teaching music - guitar, piano, bass and music theory all of my life, but most recently contiguously for the last seven years. I have a BA in Sociology from Clemson University. I was always good in math, science and history in addition to social sciences and music.
I am currently teaching mostly guitar and bass. I encourage the students, sometimes acting as their cheerleader as I take each student through a custom talored series of learning about their instrument as well as learning songs that are appropriate for their level and interest.
