I start looking right away for “What is missing?” I have seen many students who are perfectly capable but struggle because they missed a fundamental building block. Learning is always difficult. This is normal and I make sure students remember that. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent Economics graduate with a Math minor (more than 30 units of math) I've tutored at Jefferson H.S. in Edgewater CO in 2006 and am a former Marine in the communications field with years of instructional experience.
I love working with youth and feel very comfortable teaching math up through calculus. My approach is to teach from the ground up, without any assumptions about prior math knowledge. Having been someone who formerly had difficulty with the subject, I can better understand some of the pitfalls that the student may encounter.
