Through research I have been able to develop extensive grammatical skills. I believe that in order to bring about change, you have to become the change. I have tutored college students while obtaining my BA and my MA in Sociology. I was given the opportunity to tutor when a number of professors asked for my help. I also helped to tutor high school students while I substitute taught. While trying to obtain my MA in Ed. I worked with 8th graders when working on my student teaching. I use very much praise with students. Materials I use are varied. Books are often used. I ask students what they want to do. As a part of after school lessons I check on what students absolutely should do to meet requirements. Contact is made with other people to inform them of progress if needed.
