I have taught 29 years in public and private schools. I have home schooled. I have been a teacher evaluator and a mentor of first year teachers. I have been on the Berkeley County Teacher Forum. I am a recent graduate of Alabama State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Graduating magna cum laude at the top of my class with a 3.65/4.0 grade point average, I was always sought after for help in those tough curriculum classes like physics, chemistry, genetics and molecular biology. Some students are more aggressive and advanced but there are those who are silent and will not speak out about difficulties understanding competencies.
