A Little Bit About Me...

As a retired Air Force aircraft maintenance technician much of my time in the Air Force was spent as a supervisor training and mentoring young airmen to maintain sophisticated jet aircraft. I have spent the last three years working as a substitute teacher. I have worked in every grade level in elementary school, and have worked in all academic disciplines in middle school and high school. I hold an Associate of Arts degree from the Community College of the Air Force in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Governors University in Educational Studies and Social Studies. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been a believer in giving students a foundation from which to learn and grow. I enjoy teaching students basic skills that can be applied to many different subject areas. For example, I think things like test-taking skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills are all things that can transfer between subject areas and even outside of the classroom.
