A Little Bit About Me...

I earned my A.A. in Theatre Arts at College of Central Florida in Ocala, Florida. I then moved to Lakeland and earned my B.A. in Theatre Performance at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. Last summer I was an assistant teacher for the summer camp at the Civic Theatre in Ocala, Florida.
I teach the basic concepts of acting through Stanislavski and Chekhov. I focus on character development as well as scene analysis. When analyzing a play or story, I focus on the basic concepts such as inciting incidents, major dramatic question, climax, the point of attack, resolution, the theme, and characters. I work with the student so he/she can find these elements and talk about them and expound on them. I work as fast or as slow as the student needs.

For example you maybe able to go over material once with a child and they get it and others it takes more time or you have to ask them more questions about their interests and base the learning activity geared toward their interests, this will hold their attention and they will want to learn the material.
