I received my Bachelor of Arts in both Studio Art and Psychology from Brandeis University, Boston, and continued my studies for two years at the Jerusalem Studio School in Jerusalem, Israel, as a member of the Master Class with Israel Hershberg. I then received my Master of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia and went on to teach at the Delaware College of Art and Design,Swarthmore College and Cornell College, as well as offering private lessons to all ages. I currently teach art online for the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
My teaching style is encouraging and stimulating. I love what I do and I really enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. Passionate and dedicated teacher

I believe in instilling a love of learning in the reader that lasts a lifetime. In order to achieve this I work hard to find books for the child to read that sparks a passion within the child. It is also very important to use books that are not too easy or not too difficult for the child. I also plan activities specific to the areas that the child needs to work on that are engaging and fun.
I have two years experience teaching reading to struggling readers through America Reads. One of my students in this program went from the lowest reading group to the highest.
