My comments on tutoring Entrance Exams : Exams all come down to prep and organization!

I obtained a B.S. in Biology, with a concentration in aquatic science, from Wittenberg University in 2006. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored elementary students in math and science twice a week for two years. After college, I moved into the marine science profession. In August of 2008, I started teaching High School Biology I, Earth and Space Science, and Physical Science to students in Polk County. In addition, after school hours were spent with two students taking AP Biology classes. Both students achieved a 4 or higher on their placement exams. My tutored students reported an increase in their ability to record class notes, study, and take tests. Immediately after I graduated with a double-major BA in Political Science and History, I began teaching and tutoring at a boarding school in the Northwest corner of Connecticut. I taught Early American history, in addition to an English course; I have tutored on a wide range of subjects from Algebra to Spanish, Earth Science to literature.
