Physics is one of my top subjects! Physics is right up there with Chemistry and Calculus as one of the most challenging courses that college students face as they enter their freshmen year. However, this subject has perhaps the greatest reward associated with success: Learning physics is the technical equivalent of learning to speak Latin.
Although it is rare to find a career that deals with physics in its purest, and most direct form, physics is the language which informs all sciences. Every technical subject that has ever been taught in any school is directly linked to physics - it either informs physical principals (i.e. Calculus) or can be derived from them (i.e. Chemistry).
Therefore, I take great pride in my knowledge of Physics, and spare no effort to ensure that you (or your student) understand the principals therein... It is that important of a subject!
Greetings one and all!
My name is Tristan, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Florida's College of Engineering as of August 2012. I graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Nuclear Engineering and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 (and I will tell you that I earned every point of it).
I am looking forward to using my knowledge and proficiency in various fields of math and science to make your four year slog through the rigors of academia as palpable as possible. I offer flexible hours, friendly demeanor, and a patient approach to tutoring that caters to your individual skill set. All of this comes at a reasonable price, which can of course be negotiated to suit your budget (remember, I was once a broke college student too).
In short: I work with you, for you, and on your terms!
I offer tutelage in many technical disciplines: Math, Science, and Engineering are my b ... read more
