I have taught high school students for five years now. However, I have taught college freshman for a year only. But, I do know what I am doing and I know how to help students. I am patient with everyone so I can communicate better and understand my students problems so, I have always succeeded in helping my students.
I am currently a college sophomore at Florida Institute of Technology studying Computer Engineering so I know the problems a high school or school or college student would face in studies. I love teaching elementary, middle and high schoolers. I believe that every child has the capability to excel at anything if they put their mind to it. I do understand that there are some children who learn very quickly and other who are slower which is why it is important to teach in different way. Too many teachers have made it not fun and frustrating and are unwilling to explain the "whys", which can make a big difference to a child. This may be due to lack of understanding on the teacher's part, but I believe strongly that a solid education, especially in all areas of math, will help with problem solving and many other "real life" situations that can arise.
