My comments on tutoring Calculus I : I have done math in high school and college right up to calculus II and Algebra III, and I have been tutoring to math from elementary up to college level.

It can be observed that different students have different learning style. According to the experts, some of these include tactile, visual and auditory. Hands on, and more of an application study. I believe that the only way to actually understand something is being able to apply it to real world situations.
My experience is all in college. I had 9 Labs in college in all my science courses. I excelled very well in my science courses and i keep learning. Did great in my research project class. Played college baseball so i am great with athletes that do not want to study. I can break down big concepts into smaller concepts that is understandable for all students in the academia process. I completed my BS degree in electrical engineering in 2007. While pursing that degree, I took coursework in Math (through Calc I-III, Differential Equations, and Linear Systems Analysis) Physics, and Chemistry. Following graduation I worked as a project engineer constructing and commissioning an oil refinery in southwest Asia. Among with my technical responsibilities, I participated in training future local operators via translator.
To begin, I have always loved science and working with numbers. I'm very patient when trying to explain a topic to someone.
