Education is a very important matter to me and always has been. Since first grade, I have wanted to be an educator and have always strived to achieve the greatest things that I could. I believe that it is vital to a student’s learning that the student should be pushed within their comfort level, to show themselves that they are capable of achieving great things. Even when we think we aren’t gaining anything from what we are doing there is a part that we keep with us. An honors math student in high school and college, I decided to pursue a career where I could utilize my analytical and quantitative skills: finance. I have taught finance and math and the middle school and college levels. I have also taught music (piano and singing) to people of all ages.
