I have tutored friends and family for 4 years. I have also tutored others while in school and after school for 3 years. While tutoring, I try to find a way to help the student learn by finding a style that fits their personality; therefore, I do not have a preferred teaching style. I've tutored kids ages 6-14 and enjoy doing it.

Relaxed style, I am there to help the student learn in whatever way works best for them. I like to use real world situations to make the content practical and ensure that the student both retains the knowledge and can apply it. I have a BS degree in chemistry and an MS degree in math. I currently teach at the college level for various colleges including dual credit courses in many high schools. I have been a tutor for over 15+ years. I have been a statistician, a chemist in a laboratory setting, worked in the medical field, and done consulting for various companies through out my career. I have been a substitute teacher for the last 7 years at Groesbeck ISD working mainly with the high school area, and some at the middle school. I also teach an adult student at a local plant working on his GED. I am the primary instructor there. I write for several online freelance article sites and am paid to do that as well. I have passed my EC-12 Special Education test and also my Generalist 4-8 and am considered Highly Qualified in those 2 areas.
