A Little Bit About Me...

I received a technology degree in 1975. Several years later I returned to college to persue a Physics/Mechanical Engineering Degree from SUNY New Paltz and RPI. I was an "A" student in Physics and enjoyed tutoring many classmates. I was a guest lecturer several times at RPI. Due to work and family commitments I did not complete the degree. My wife and I homeschooled our children through the primary grades. I taught sciences. While an Employee at IBM, I wrote and taight technical courses. Physics is my forte and I love talking about and teaching the subject. I am especially helpfull to students challenged by word problems. Throughout college I would host study groups in Physics and Chemistry. I currently am a financial advisor.

My teaching style is professional, friendly, and peer to peer. I like to break things down for students and I encourage them to ask a lot of questions. I try my best to gauge how the student learns and teach them 'tricks' based on their learning style for committing what was taught to memory. I love being able to teach someone something new.
