I graduated with honors from Grand Valley State University with my Bachelors in Psychology/Special Education in 1997. My areas of expertise include emotional impairments and cognitive impairments. In 2001, I graduated with a 4.0 in my Masters of Special Education Administration program. I also received my Special Education Supervisor approval certification at this time. I have taught in for 9 years in programs for students having severe emotional impairments in segregated facilities. I also have been a special education supervisor at an Intermediate School District for 6 years. It is difficult for me to say which age of student I love working with because each student I have worked with from age 6 - 25 has been very rewarding.
