A Little Bit About Me...

I am very positive in my approach to teaching. Being a Special Education major has taught me that all students can learn, but they all learning differently. My teaching style is very adaptable to the needs of the student I am working with. I am passionate about education and developing in young people a love of learning, patient, friendly, and determined.
I have been tutoring elementary age students since my senior year of high school. My focus in college was teaching elementary age students and students with special needs. I am well versed in all subjects at the elementary level and am most strong in the language arts area. While in college, I student taught at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels and most recently taught third grade for half of the school year.
