My comments on tutoring Guitar : I've been a guitarist for about 5 years.

I don't any paid, professional tutoring experience. However, I have volunteered my services to family members and friends. During my sophomore year, I took Organic Chemistry and excelled. However, my friends were struggling. They hated me a bit for how easy it came to me. I decided to tutor them and help them with homework assignments and studying. They ended up doing very well on the exams, allowing them to secure a 3.0 or higher in the course. I also had to regular help my classmates out with more complex problems in Physics. I was not so much tutoring as working together with them on the homework, but still, it involved clear explanation and a thorough knowledge of the subject matter.

Andrew Rohwedder is an award winning guitarist. He graduated with honors at Arizona State University, studying classical guitar at the Herberger College of Design and the Arts. Andrew began his guitar studies at age 11, and has loved it since been given his first guitar. He has made a commitment to the musical arts, and plans to pursue a career in concert performance. In the meantime, Andrew hopes to help others gain this passion, or help them simply enjoy playing the instrument in their leisure time. I graduated from UT Austin with a BS physics and BA mathematics. I still study both subjects independently to be ready for graduate school. I have held a job in both IT and Engineering where I have used my skills to mentor others on these topics. I have spoken spanish since I started speaking and CLEP'd out of Spanish IV at UT Austin with an A to meet the language requirements. I have been playing guitar since 1987. I used to play in a band from 1991 - 1995 and learned to read and write music from when I played the alto saxophone in H.S. marching band.
