I have a passion for helping others and I live to learn. I realized at a very young age the power of education. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in International business in August 2009. I am an MBA candidate and my expected graduation date is February 2011. Audtor - CPA Firm Tax Accountant- Fortune 500 Company Controller- NW SC I am currently finishing the AD in Accounting at Greenville Tech,and should graduate with over 3.9 GPA on a 4.0 scale.My Accounting is updated to a current standard and has GAAP ,FASB , and IFRS current pronuncements.It also includes Excel and Quickbooks. I have made the Dean's list every semester and the President's list every time I took enough credit hours.
I personally prefer one on one interaction for tutoring . I would first determine areas which need to strengthened. ThenI would emphasize these areas in the instruction process.Then I would assign work (exercises,problems,questions). I am currently employed as a Regional Revenue Manager responsible for daily functions of increasing revenue for hotels that I serve. I have to utilize various levels of math everyday to be successful, through this employment and working in banking and as a treasurer for a church, I believe my expertise will help me be a great tutor for you and your student.
As an adult graduate of a local university, I believe that everyone has their own learning style. Not every teacher recognizes that students learn differently, and I have been successful helping others with hands-on, re-teaching, and verbal skills.
