I have worked with students teaching basic learning skills for many years. I am the mother of two young adult children, both had learning challenges, ADD and required unique and creative tutoring at home in order to reach their full academic abilities. I have been a teacher and guidance counselor for many years, having taught both deaf children, hard of hearing children and hearing children in self contained classrooms. I have always been a problem solver and enjoy helping children learn! I have an eclectic approach to teaching, when working with deaf students I use alot of story telling and American Sign Language to teach English.
